ERA is currently teaching fly fishing and guiding fishing trips. There are opportunities for both western fly fishing and tenkara (traditional Japanese fly fishing). We specialize in remote/little known creeks. This spring we will be fishing in small creeks in the Willamette Valley, the Middle Fork of the Willamette, the Crooked River and coastal rivers and creeks. Join us for quality fishing in beautiful places. ERA is available to assist Scouts in attaining the Fly Fishing Merit Badge.
ERA is currently teaching traditional archery and atlatl skills for client groups this spring. We have all the equipment and can come to your community, set-up a safe archery range including a large backstop/arrow curtain. We teach basic instinctive shooting techniques and then allow lots of time for practice. ERA is available to assist Scouts with attaining the Archery Merit Badge.
ERA is currently planning and leading custom-designed outdoor schools for elementary, middle and high schools, at a number of
locations including three ranches in Central and Eastern Oregon. We can provide food, equipment, logistics, curriculum development and instruction.
ERA is leading field-based science/nature hikes in and close to Portland. Some of these are accessible using public transportation only!
